what is an industrial electrician?

As an industrial electrician, you diagnose electrical faults during the manufacturing process. You use various types of diagnostic and measuring tools to identify and solve problems. Your goal is to minimize the time that different processes are often stopped when an electrical fault occurs. To be able to perform the work correctly and efficiently, you need to have a deep understanding of how electrical systems work. Without this understanding, you risk not being able to repair things efficiently enough. As an industrial technician, it is important to understand drawings and technical specifications for electrical systems and code specifications.

If a building needs to update its electrical system, you are the one who installs it and tests it to make sure it is both safe and usable. You also install systems in newly constructed buildings that do not yet have any electricity. If an industrial building has problems or disruptions with its electricity, you are the one who arranges equipment and figures out what the problem is. You provide maintenance and repair services year-round to make sure everything works as it should.
