terms of use candidate account

These Terms and Conditions ("the Agreement") are valid between Randstad Sweden Group AB corporate ID no. 556089-6572 and its group companies in Sweden, Randstad AB, corporate ID no. 556242-1718, Randstad Solutions AB, corporate ID no. 556451-7968, Randstad Care AB, corporate ID no. 556581-9934, Dfind IT AB, corporate ID no. 556633-3612, Dfind Finance AB, corporate ID no. 556803-3145, Dfind Science & Engineering AB, corporate ID no. 556548-3905 ("Randstad") and you who registered your resume.

Once you have registered a candidate account, you are registered as a Randstad candidate, and Randstad will provide services for you to enable you to search and find work.

By accepting the Agreement in connection with your registration, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Agreement.

1. candidate account

By creating the candidate account, you warrant that all personal data you have provided about yourself, including the information in your CV, is accurate and up to date.

You must choose a unique, confidential and personal password that, together with your username (your email address), gives access to the candidate account. Your candidate account is personal and may not be transferred to anyone other than yourself.

It is your responsibility to safeguard your password, user information and other important information from Randstad in order to ensure that the information does not fall into  the wrong hands or is otherwise misused.

It is your responsibility to not leave your computer unattended during the time you are logged into your candidate account and take special care regarding the use of the password.

2 your use of the candidate account

When using your candidate account, you are to follow applicable laws and regulations and Randstad's instructions. You must also adhere to generally accepted ethical and moral values ​​and may not upload material into the candidate account that may be considered offensive, give rise to anxiety, may infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, may promote or encourage criminal offenses or may otherwise be deemed to be offensive.

You may not use this services in ways that cause inconvenience or damage to Randstad or others.

You are solely responsible for all information that you upload into and with which you communicate through your candidate account.

Randstad reserves the right, without compensation and without prior notice, to remove CVs and application documents that Randstad considers to contain inappropriate material, to be offensive and / or to violate the Agreement, Swedish law and / or to infringe the intellectual property rights of another.

3. randstad's provision of the candidate account

The candidate account is generally available 24 hours a day, every day of the week. However, Randstad does not guarantee that the candidate account is free from errors, interruptions or "bugs" during this time. You are also aware of and accept that access to the candidate account is dependent on and affected by, for example, network quality, Internet service providers and third party server and data performance.

Randstad regularly performs maintenance and upgrades of its systems, which may result in interruptions, delays or errors in providing access to the candidate account.

Randstad is not responsible for interruptions, delays, maintenance shutdowns, online service failures or other problems that may occur and / or occur in our operations and thus in the candidate account.

4. liability

Randstad shall under no circumstances  be liable for consequential damage or indirect damage, loss of profits, loss of data or other losses in connection with the use or non-use of your candidate account.

Randstad’s liability shall be limited to damage caused by Randstad's own acts. Randstad assumes no liability for any third party's action or failure to act. Randstad is not liable for any damages or losses arising from Randstad's obligation to comply with applicable laws, regulations, actions or omissions of authority, war, accident, natural disaster, strike, blockade or other similar circumstance, regardless of whether Randstad is behind such circumstance or whether Randstad is subject to it.

5. termination

This Agreement shall apply until further notice. You have the right to terminate your candidate account at any time thereby terminating the Agreement with immediate effect. After Randstad has received the digital form,  Randstad will contact you for identification (e.g. electronic signing).

Randstad has the right to terminate the Agreement and / or cease to provide the candidate account at any time.

Randstad has the right to block your candidate account if:

(a) Randstad becomes aware or Randstad has a probable cause to believe that you use or will use the candidate account in violation with this Agreement or in violation with applicable law or regulation,

(b) there is probable cause to believe that your candidate account has been abused or will be abused,

(c) you do not provided accurate, complete and updated information to the account.

6. changes to the Terms

Randstad has the right to make changes to the Agreement at any time and will notify you of any updates.

If you use your candidate account after a change has been notified to you, you are bound by the new terms of the Agreement.

7. applicable law and dispute

The Agreement shall be applied and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law, without regard to its conflict or law principles.  

Disputes arising from the Agreement shall be decided by the district court in Stockholm in first instance.
