The average salary for an electrician is between 26 000 and 35 000 kr per month. During the apprenticeship period, the salary is somewhat lower, but the apprenticeship is mandatory in order to work as an independent electrician in Sweden. Most commonly, the total apprenticeship period is 1,600 hours, and during the second part of the apprenticeship, you qualify for a slightly higher salary than during the first part.
