key responsibilities
- As Chief Lab Technician you will be managing the daily workflow within the laboratory from sample to results. Here you will manage a team of experienced laboratory technicians
- optimizing the daily work for efficiency
- provide guidance and support
- as well as scheduling and resource planning. Your second main task will be to act as project lead in setting up
- evaluate and implement new assays. You will also be leading the subsequent validation projects. You will work closely with other chief technicians
- with each owning the operational responsibility for their respective area. You will be responsible for both the physical and psychosocial work environment. You have personnel responsible for your team
- and it is your responsibility to ensure the right skills and staffing and give the employees the proper conditions required for the work.
qualifications
- This role is suited for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is flexible and can work and run projects independently and in groups. You are analytical and must be able to prioritize
- work efficiently
- be structured
- and be results-oriented in combination with documenting your work with quality and regulatorily. In addition
- you have an outstanding ability to collaborate as the job involves cross-functional organizational environments. You will be working closely with the tech development team
- product managers
- medical doctors
- and
- most importantly
- leading the laboratory staff team.
  
  Required experience:
  - Masters degree from relevant education.
  - Solid experience working with large-scale Immuno analysis
  - with method development
  - implementation and validation.
  - You are a communicative and inspiring leader with an entrepreneurial and curious spirit.
  - You have ideas on improving health care for patients.
  - Good communicative ability in English and/or Swedish in speech and writing.
  Meritorious:
  - Licensed Biomedical Analyst
  - Ph.D. in Immunology
  - biotechnology
  - or other relevant subject areas.
  - Previous experience from clinical diagnostics from routine lab setting and understanding of patient sample workflows.
