As a Cybersecurity Solution architect you bridge the gap between business and technology, with the focus on the technical decisions and how they support the business. You will provide expertise and technical guidance in the design and implementation of Cybersecurity IT solutions to various stakeholders.
Design & Implementation is part of the role – to formulate & communicate new architectures and demonstrate their suitability in mitigating relevant Cyber threats Assessment – to determine the strength and appropriateness of technical designs in mitigating relevant Cyber threats.
You will be one of the important keys to build up the new Cybersecurity function at SMT from the ground.
As a cybersecurity architect, you will help create future security solutions by developing system design and selecting technical solutions. We offer cross-functional work where you, along with experts from the entire development organization, find sustainable and balanced solutions. Together with the rest of our team you will also be involved in developing SMT cybersecurity concepts. To facilitate this, you will be part of all project phases, from research to early concept development right through to production launch. Working with cybersecurity architecture also involves ensuring the entire life cycle, e.g. service market and incident management.
Map business requirements into technology solutions through interaction with business, IT stakeholders, vendors and industry experts with the aim to create a solution design.
Ensures that designed solutions are successfully implemented by supporting the project teams to confirm that applications, services and technologies are successfully developed and delivered as maintainable finished solutions.
Review the current technology architecture landscape and seek ways to leverage, improve and/or extend corporate technology investments. Conduct research on new and emerging technology and how it can be applied to best support the business. Collaborate and support other architects in the area.
You are expected to hold a university degree in IT or similar knowledge gained from work experience. You have a number of years professional experience from cybersecurity during which you have gained an amount of integrity in your professional role. You have a sound understanding of how to model threats & risks as well as the controls necessary to mitigate them, on both an organizational and technical level. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills. You have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written. Some travel and willingness to adjust working hours is needed.
You are passionate about the topic and find it easy to cooperate. You are motivated by responsibility and enjoy solving problems.
You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements. You are also expected to be collaborative, thinking strategic but also utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us to the new target operating model in the new company.
- Minimum of 4 plus years of experience in solution architect role, within Cybersecurity area.
- Experience with multivendor global enterprise environment and in architecting large-scale global networks.
- An understanding of security methodologies(Such as SIEM, VUMA, EPP, Detection & Response, incident management etc..), best practice and industry standards
- Experience in risk & regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIST 800, ISO 27001, ISF SOGP or similar is an advantage.
- Understanding of ITIL and ITSM
