Sandvik Materials Technology have a cloud first strategy and will in the long-term move as much as possible to SaaS and PaaS solutions the cloud.
The purpose of the position is to be the point of contact for all cloud services provided by the new central Cloud Office function as well as be the driving force of developing the cloud journey we are embarking on.
You will be managing, defining and delivering clearly defined services that enable customers to understand service offerings, including what each service does and does not include, eligibility, service limitations, cost, how to request services, and how to get help.
The role is key for designing the new function, as well as establishing the necessary platform for the on-going cloud initiatives which will increase the cloud presence in the coming years substantially. Currently the primary cloud service provider is Azure, but more will be added later.
You will also be part of continuous improvement and automation of cloud operations , as well as act as point of contact for suppliers and internal functions utilizing the cloud services. You have an essential role in serving as the point of escalation and collecting feedback and requirements from customers and other stakeholders.
As highly appreciated service manager you are expected to:
Identifying customer needs and translating them into services.
Managing incoming pipeline of new projects and demands.
Lead the development of the cloud services portfolio by creating, packaging and defining the cloud services, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service roadmaps.
Establish financial, business and pricing models for the services in scope.
Work with different vendors and supplier
Ensure supplier performance and follow up service reporting metrics, budget and improvement plans according to agreed SLAs/OLAs.
Ensure that Cloud services comply with security, regulatory and legal requirements.
Acting as point of escalation for operational issues affecting the services.
You are expected to hold a university degree in IT or similar work experience and have previous experience in service management role, preferably in cloud delivery with one of the big public cloud providers, or within infrastructure outsourced environment.
You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements. You are also expected to be collaborative, thinking strategic but also utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us to the new target operating model in the new company.
You are also not afraid to get into technical discussions and help solutioning cloud projects/demands to a certain level using solution architects, engineers and operators. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills. Have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written. Some travel and willingness to adjust working hours is needed.
- Minimum of 4 plus years of experience in service management role, preferably in cloud delivery from cloud providers, or an outsourced environment.
- Experience and good knowledge of Azure IaaS, SaaS and PaaS solutions and products.
- Understanding of ITIL v3 service managements and operational activities needed to uphold a service.
- Experience in service and contract management in a multivendor global environment
- Ability to coordinate and manage global changes and initiatives
