On behalf of our client Alfa Laval, we are now looking for a Project Manager for the Engineering & Supply organization. The role is suitable for you who are looking for a technically challenging role with many internal and external contacts and who are passionate about working within Life Sciences!
Engineering & Supply High-Speed Separators is responsible for engineering and delivering customer projects and delivery of high-speed separator systems. The project organization delivers both standardized products as well as customized HSS systems that ensure optimization of each customer’s separation demands.
The position is based in Tumba, Stockholm.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of different customer projects, mostly within Life Sciences. You will have an overall responsibility to manage and ensure the projects are delivered in time, within budget and with the correct scope. Due to the project size, you will handle several projects at the same time.
Projects include but are not limited to engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing of process module and startup. The size and scope of all activities depend on the customer contract.
Your main tasks:
• Technical Project management
• Financial management
• Direct contact with customers
• Secure customer requirements
• Motivate and drive project team
Essential for the role:
• You hold a degree in Engineering or Science at university level
• Worked with technical customer projects delivering to the pharma and biotech industry
• Knowledge within Good Manufacturers Practices (GMP)
• Experience from project management
• Fluent in English both orally and in writing and preferably also in Swedish
Desirable for the role:
To thrive in this role, you should be resourceful and demonstrate excellent time management and patience. You enjoy managing interpersonal relationships combining technical skills with great communication. Another key is strong problem-solving skills and a flexible state of mind as projects can change quickly.
