As Project-/System Engineer you will get the opportunity to work with docking guidance system and be operative in customer projects to get the gate operations be made smoother and safer.
You will be part of the GATE Solutions department who is responsible for the quality of deliverables of all technical project tasks and assignments in projects. When assigned to a project the Project-/System Engineer reports to the Project Manager who has the ultimate responsibility for projects.
You will be part of a global team of engaged and open-minded members, and one of 8 located in Malmö.

The Project/System Engineer is responsible for the following:
- Global support to customer projects
- Coordination, production and documentation of all technical activities in assigned projects
- Understand customer requirements and transfer them in system functionalities Support for technical specifications
- Plan, schedule, perform and coordinate assigned engineering work
IT skills - mandatory:
- Responsible for services (eg. test and commissioning of our Apron Management and Docking guidance systems and training of users)
- Monitoring and managing of technical project requirements
IT skills – meritorious:
- Administration knowledge of Windows Server
- Administration knowledge of network communication on TCP/IP
- Administration of web components
- Administration of databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
- Knowledge of cluster systems
- Knowledge and administration experience of multilayer architectures
- Field communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus)
- MS Project & Visio
Preferably you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering. We believe you have a couple of years of experience in system engineering, project engineering and/or project management but are also interested in you who recently graduated if you have the right engagement and interest to learn to know the area.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is also advantageous if you speak Swedish and/or additional language.Qualities:
