As a Process Development Specialist at Oatly you will be able to spread your wings in the field of process technology, developing new technology and processing solutions that contributes to the global technology development roadmap for Liquid Oats. You will be a key player in Oatly´s ability to deliver outstanding products with the best technology and through the best processes. 



In this role you will contribute with innovation and expertise in process technology, with a focus on developing process solutions that help create world-class products. You will be a speaking partner and a source of know-how in process development, supporting the product development teams as well as production and supply teams. Building and adding on to Oatly´s process technology expertise, with your depth of knowledge in the area, while working cross-functionally and cross-regionally to deliver on innovation goals. You will also get the opportunity to lead and participate in technology development projects.



An innovative, analytical and curious person, ready to be the driving force in developing new technology and processing solutions for Oatly. You are a social and creative addition to the team. Ready to be hands on as well as structured and strategic and share your knowledge with a wide range of teammates both cross-functionally and globally throughout the company. Your mission and passion is to create, improve and streamline process solutions to contribute in Oatly continuing to be the world leader within liquid oat technology. 

We hope to see that you check the following boxes:
• MSc in Chemical Engineering, Process design, Food process technology or Biotechnology
• A minimum of five years’ experience in process technology development work
• Work experience in Food sciences or Biosciences
• A minimum of five years industry experience
• Experience in working with liquid processes
• A willingness to travel occasionally in your work

We would be thrilled if you also have a PhD within a relevant field. And if you really want to wow us, you have added the layer of experience in milling or separation technology. We would also prefer if you have experience in Project Management and/or knowledge in Experimental design. International experience is another plus.

It is necessary that you are fluent in English and a plus if you have knowledge in the Swedish language.
