We are looking for an experienced HRBP in Karlskrona to work closly with our Baltic region. You will join and be a part of the Scandinavian HR-team in Gothenburg, which consists of HR Business Partners, specialists, service partners and coordinators. This is an opportunity for a well established HR Business Partner to join one of the world’s largest ferry companies.

What will you do?
Well, most of our staff works at sea. And since one of our colleagues is leaving to pursue new challenges, we are looking for a HR Business Partner to support parts of our business at sea and at shore on all HR-matters. Your main mission is to support and coach the managers in your business units to become true Stena Line-leaders. With the strategic HR business plan in mind, you will drive, influence and advice on all people aspects such as organization change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives. You will report to People Manager Operation and work closely with other HR Business Partners and assigned Management teams.

The role:

  • Provide day to day support for managers in operational HR matters, including all investigation and requirement for disciplinary matters, compensation issues and rehabilitation
  • Act as a single point of contact for managers in your business units
  • Guide, coach and advice managers in employee development, performance, employee relations and HR-issues in line with the company policy
  • Ensure legal compliance
  • Independently manage local union negotiations
  • Hold training sessions for managers and employees
  • Independently manage recruitment

The must-have’s:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent within HR
  • At least five years of experience from working as a HR Business Partner or similar HR-role, preferable from a matrix organization with operational focus
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. If you also speak Polish och German, it is a merit
  • Experienced user of MS Office
  • Opportunity to travel in the service on a weekly to monthly basis

This is a fulltime, permanent position based in Karlskrona with start as soon as possible. The role includes traveling, mainly onboard our ships and to our head office in Gothenburg.
