Finance Controller - Specsavers Business Services
Specsavers is looking for an Finance Controller to our Business Services function (SBS), who will be the Finance Controller responsible for a selection of our stores. This will include financial reporting and communication of store performance within the organisation with the purpose to monitor and improve store performance. The role will also include improving and developing the routines and processes to further enhance the services provided to store partners as well as other departments.

Specsavers Business Services (SBS) is part of the Finance department with the main focus on store financials and performance.

Key responsibilities are:
• Continuous and consistent analysis of financial data. Present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner to store partners as well as management and the retail department.

• Clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the stores; monitor progress and changes.

• Handling daily ad hoc queries from Visma, retail department and store partners

• Produce store budgets and own the store budget process.

• Ensuring an accurate and timely Business Transfer process as well as support new partners through close cooperation with the retail team.

• Produce and distribute KPI reports and data extracts (all Specsavers Sweden stores) on a regular basis (daily, weekly and monthly) to monitor store performance and to support other functions in the company.

• Ability to multitask

• Good understanding of accounting practice

• Excellent excel skills

• High level of oral and written English skills

• Minimum of a MBA preferred

• 2-4 years relevant experience in controlling, auditing or consulting

• Experience from a Franchise Business is preferred but not crucial.

You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and develop strong relations with team and both internal and external partners at all levels. You will also have the ability to work well under pressure as well as demonstrating a proactive behaviour.
