For our Nordic region, we are seeking a Field Service and Application Engineer to support our customers with installation and technical support.

Scanditron is a market-leading importer and supplier of machines and services for the manufacture of electronic products in the Nordic and Baltic countries and Poland. Scanditron has companies with sales and service in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Poland and service engineers also in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Norway.
We are now in an expansive phase and are looking for Field Service and Application Engineer based in Sweden. 

Your Responsibilities:
  • You will conduct service, repair and/or installation of products at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.
  • You will solve a broad range of hardware and/or software problems of varying scope and complexity
  • You will coordinate your own work schedule with direct colleagues, service operations and management.
  • You will provide proactive and responsive technical telephone and remote support when required

Skills and Requirements: 
  • Technical education in mechatronics, electronics or other experience in a high-tech enviroment
  • Good computer skills with analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Good language skills in written and spoken English
  • Possess a driving license and be willing to travel (30% - 50%) across the Nordic and baltic region

Merits but not mandatory:
  • Experience of electronic production 
  • Computer skills of PLC, C+, applications, etc 
  •  Good language skills in written and spoken Swedish
Personal qualities:
  • Good social skills – that you can get along with different types of people 
  • You are independent, service-minded, and educational in the approach to customers
  • You are highly organized, on top of things and in control of administrative work, including service reports and customer queries.
  • A strong team contributor, working remotely with the ability to connect with your colleagues in the region
