As a Compliance Engineer, you will participate in a Trade Compliance project with focus on hardware. You will be a part of a team that works with classification of the products according to EU and ES regulations for trade compliance in order for them to be sold on the world market. There is a process to cover for the products in development, but there is a need for the company to handle all the products already on the sales list, including spare parts.

You will assess the legacy items in the PLM system, create a backlog and document roles and responsibilities. Part of your responsibilities are also to define a clear way to handle master data for hardware and software in the HF organization meaning Pick & Place, Jetting, Towers and Inspection. You will help coordinate the use of the data fields and develop a strategy on how to ensure the data fields are being used in the same way in ARAS (PLM-system) and M3 (ERP-system). 

The role further includes a responsibility for making sure that products and services meet applicable standards and submitting regulatory paperwork.You will also communicate and educate personnel and customers about compliance regulations.


To thrive in the role, you have an Engineering degree from a relevant field, and have previous experience from working with compliance matters. In your work, it is highly important that you are quality driven and efficient, always striving for good results. Furthermore you are a strong team player with good problem solving skills.

Additional requirements for the role are:
  • Good knowledge in written and spoken english
  • Good knowledge in working with PLM systems, preferably Aras
  • Good knowledge in working with Solid Works is a merit
  • Experience from working with PDMP is a merit
  • Experience of working with HW design is a merit
  • Some experience in ECCN classification for EU and US is a merit
