You will be part of a team that develop and implement a continuously evolving global PR strategy that proactively communicates the story to relevant media, driving corporate and brand reputation and business growth.
As Central Public Relations Manager you will build trust-based relationships with key media across relevant categories, globally. You will collaborate with a network of international PR managers to amplify messages across all markets. You will also collaborate with the Marketing & Brand function and secure highest impact on communication initiatives and drive earned media engagement which includes unpaid influencers to create strong consumer lifestyle engagement. On certain occasions you will act as a Spokesperson to the global media and you will also brief the executives ahead journalist events.
In the Central Public Relation Team the pace is high and you will be in daily contact with media around the world as well as in the markets and regions.
This position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden and you will report to the Head of Central PR.
We are looking for a progressive communicator who is able to work across traditional, social and new media. The successful candidate will be driven and inherently curious in global developments, always eager to improve and demonstrate a creative approach to building the brand outside the traditional automotive space.
You are a collaborative person with an eye for identifying and developing impactful news-based stories and creating multi-channel tactics and see them through to execution. You will need to react quickly to potential risks and find stories that protect, build and promote the corporate reputation.
• 3+ years of experience from corporate and consumer dimensions of PR/communications preferably at a global level
• Experience of digital media as well as traditional media
• Excellent English and Swedish writing skills
• Experience from media events that deliver on business and brand objectives is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or Journalism or an equivalent experience
