Linde is a worldwide leading provider within industrial- and specialty gas. Linde's products, services and technical solutions are used in many industries and applications. A few examples where Linde´s gas is provided are within chemistry, paper & pulp, food, electronics, engineering, steel industries and healthcare. For consumers, Linde offers LPG and mineral water products. For the position as Business Controller at Linde, you will be based in Solna which is the Head Office of the North European Region.

responsibilities.

As a Business Controller at Linde you act as a Business Partner to Senior Management by performing in-depth analyses and providing action-oriented financial information. Since you are responsible for the transparent overview of all commercial proceedings during month- end procedures, your detailed orientation and accuracy is crucial for this position. The finance organisation at Linde handles large data volumes, therefore it is of high value that you can navigate in a complex data driven environment. 
More to your responsibility;

  • Enhance controlling tools and processes in Excel and BI Tools such as Tableau, PowerQuery/PowerPivot 
  • Financial planning, budget and forecasting proces
  • KPI analysis
  • Reporting 
  • Ensuring all processes and structures are up-to-date and comply with the latest organizational 
    set-up
  • Participation in Finance- and Controlling projects
  • Act as a financial counterpart in business case modelling
  • Ad hoc analyses
In this position you report to the Head of Business Control. The team consists of three Country Business Controllers and a regional Controlling team, together responsible for the Northern European Region.

qualifications.

We see that you hold a Master’s degree in business administration, finance or equivalent qualification. With your solid educational ground, you have been able to build your knowledge in a similar role for a minimum of three years. A similar role means, you have been a part of a management group as a controller, providing key stakeholders with financial analysis, reports and data, presenting results and insights to different units of a leading multinational corporation. 

Since you on a daily basis will be in close collaboration with management, your interpersonal skills will be a crucial factor for success. On a personal level you have integrity and a professional business oriented approach. We welcome you who have a strong drive and motivation to contribute. You have the ability to work in an international team environment, therefore your excellent verbal and written communication skills will be at use. You have a proactive mindset and flexible attitude, always striving for perfection.

We believe that you;
  • Have strong IT skills with experience of developing automated reports
  • Have a strong knowledge in SAP, Excel and Tableau 
  • The ability to translate complex data from various and disparate systems into cohesive and effective management information is part of your portfolio
  • State-of-the-art financial controlling and reporting skills and excellent analytical skills
