Let’s talk about your mission
As a Business controller, you will support functional managers, service owners and other relevant roles with analytics, advice and tools relating to financial performance. This includes ensuring timely reporting of the consolidated actual performance, forecasts and targets.

As a Business controller, you also review data quality and highlight data discrepancies to the owner/provider of the data as required to drive quality in all processes owned by finance. In cooperation with other important stakeholders, you will support owners with profitability analysis. Support the Sandvik Materials Technology IT performance management process, incl. KPI development and implementation. Also, assist with key contract issues where financial analysis plays a significant role.
Some of your main tasks will be to follow up, analyse, advise and report on actual results, forecasts and targets. This includes projects associated with the stakeholder. You will also perform review and quality assurance of financial data used in all relevant financial processes. Plan and drive the annual planning and forecast process including intra company transactions and control of prices.

You will be a great part of preparing and validating business cases for projects and investment proposals and supporting ROI calculations and related documentation.
Another important part is to provide and enhance tools and routines for a standardized way of working within Business Control and ensure that the correct price is calculated and established for each service, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
You will also work with improvements in financial processes owned by the finance function.

And what about you?
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor of Business. You have some year’s professional experience and detailed knowledge of being part of a finance function. You are a problem solver with ability to drive structured improvements. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills. You have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written.
You are passionate about the topic and find it easy to cooperate. You are motivated by responsibility and enjoy solving problems. You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements.
You are also expected to be collaborative, thinking strategically but also utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us to the new target operating model in the new company.
