What kind of job is this?
The job is essentially one of the key roles in realizing our expansion of sales into the nordics. You would be responsible for the markets in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. This entails building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new accounts. You would support our customers by understanding their needs, providing product presentations and advice, monitoring the after sales and coordinating outstanding issues. We are approaching our international markets from the “local markets play the game” principle.
Though you are the only employee based in Sweden, you will have intensive contact with the International Sales Manager in the Netherlands, to whom you will report. Also you and your customers will be supported by our customer service team in the Netherlands. You will also cooperate directly with the sales office in the Netherlands, including amongst others coordinating the calculation and determination of the margins in order to set suitable quotations and the follow-up of quotations with regards to negotiating price, payment terms and delivery time.
At last you will advise the management on strategic topics, such as improving our market position, input for product management and R&D regarding specific product requirements in your markets etcetera. You will meet the international sales manager monthly in the region for a business review and sparring around personal and market development. Also on a regular base meetings with your colleagues from other countries will be held.
The position is full-time and permanent, with remote work until a physical office is established. We would like you to be based out of Göteborg, Malmö or Copenhagen, but travel will be a large part of your weekly work. We estimate that traveling to meet customers, investigating the market and finding leads will be about 70% of your week.

What do we expect from you?
To be successful in this role, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English. A good understanding of Norwegian, Danish and Finnish is also a plus, but it isn’t a must.
Furthermore, we think you have a background in sales and we would like to see that you have at least 5 years relevant working experience as an account manager. Due to the essence of what you are selling, an affinity with the shutter and awning business is a preference. At the least, an understanding of building and/or construction technicalities is needed.
As a person you are goal-oriented and love working towards targets. “Hungry” is a word used to describe you. You are proactive, entrepreneurial and have no problem working independently as you are, at this stage, the only employee in Sweden. The work will entail a lot of travel, so you will have to be comfortable being on the road.
