On behalf of our client Stefanini, we are looking for a 2nd line support technician, for a longer assignment.
Stefanini is a global IT services company with over 20,000 employees across 88 offices in 39 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Since 1987, Stefanini has been providing offshore, onshore and nearshore IT services, including application development and outsourcing services, IT infrastructure outsourcing (help desk support and desktop services), systems integration, consulting and strategic staffing to Fortune 1000 enterprises around the world.

You will be located in Grimsås during this assignment.

Purpose of the role
To deliver exceptional 2nd Line support services to the end users and technical support through the resolution of technical queries on various platforms, operating systems, hardware and software.

Areas of responsibility - Operations & Support

  • Install, configure and maintain IS/IT infrastructure in compliance with standards, procedures and operating methods
  • Monitor the running of logical and physical IT equipment, according to standards, frameworks, operating methods and safety procedures
  • Provide users with technical assistance and process service request fulfillment
  • Perform operational testing and technical qualification and categorize and log incidents
  • Diagnose causes, and support resolution of incidents/problems in compliance with the procedures in place
  • Hardware repairs and preventative maintenance (quarterly, bi-annually)
  • Manage IT store room space and imaging stations
  • Administering repairs and re-calls, asset tagging of equipment, warranty management
  • Working closely with on-site helpdesk to ensure all hardware issues resolved
  • Liaising daily with Inventory teams in various countries
  • Monitor, update and maintain ticket queues, work on tickets and imaging new desktops & Laptops
  • Asset tag auditing and management and receiving new hardware (inbound stock)
  • Maintaining inventory stock levels of standard equipment, assisting with ordering non-standard items and deployment of phones
  • Ensure SLAs are being met

  • Check that risks and security procedures of technical equipment are compliant with risks & security policy
  • Carry out availability, security testing and acceptance of IT equipment
Required skills and qualifications

  • Language: Swedish and English professional written and spoken
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting IT solutions
